I have urgent news for everyone; i just got a facebook profile. It's true; I lived nineteen years of my life without a facebook profile and, amazingly, i was pretty happy. everyone was telling me that i had to have one.
i was reluctant at first. As a fairly shy person, i did not know what to expect from this experience, but on night a friend of mine set me up a profile and i jumped in. i guess "jumped in" may be an exaggeration because for the first three days i had four friends.
now i am glad that i got facebook just because it has helped me to stay in touch with some of my friends from high school who went to different colleges. i guess i still do not quite understand why some people treat facebook like a religion, but i'm not going to delete my profile because, no matter how much it pains me to say it, facebook is pretty fun.

I thought your blog was so funny because it took me forever to get a facebook too! I was determined not to get one because everyone had one and it seemed like they were completely obsessed with it. I only just got one at the end of my senior year because my friend, who is now my suite-mate, told me I could not to to college without a facebook. It had been good for keeping up with people I do not really talk to much anymore, so I guess I am pretty glad I have one now :)
I liked the way you wrote this! It sounds like you're talking to someone, which is a good thing!
Your blog is hilarious.
You hate to admit the fun you find in having a facebook profile? I have never heard that before. Funny.
I am a shy person too and I understand your fear of adding facebook. Also, like you everyone told me I had to have a facebook because that is the best way to contact everyone and that everyone has one. It truly is great for meeting new people and for keeping up with old friends as you stated.
Its good that you got a facebook. It was a great creation, yet it is a terrible creation causing all sorts of drama and what not.
That's really funny, I'd pretty much assumed about a year ago that every teenager in america had one. But yeah it has its ups and downs.
